Some of the concerns I had with the initial filming also came to pass in this version of the recording. It was hard for people to show up since the place we were recording in was relatively far from where most of the people lived. Many had problems with transport. I ended up only having six people to work with. I tried my best to reuse them as much as I could without making it too obvious.

During the recording, I realised some scenes had to be added since I needed more footage to complete the song. I changed some things slightly, to make it fit better in the setting. I added things like, someone walking up to a shower drunk and turning it on, getting themselves soaked, with clothes on. As well as some irrelevant scenes such as people going to play around with the smart fridge while drunk. These were done in order to give the party a more ridiculous image, emphasising how people act while intoxicated.

Here are some behind the scenes clips:

This time, I used a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, which belongs to a friend, to record the music video. The last two recordings I used my phone, which made me realise that it has certain weaknesses, such as being unable to record well when it's dark. I figured it was an important part of the setting for the party to be set at night, since most parties take place after dusk.

I also recorded at a friend's house, since her house is much bigger than mine, allowing me to have more space to work with to set up the party scene properly. As I had been to her house before, I planned my storyboard to match how her house looks like. However, when we arrived there, she told us that her house has a new section that had recently been finished and we will be recording there. This new area fit the party scene even better than the part of her house used in my storyboard. Despite this, it was hard to match the recordings to the new setting.

Another thing that I had to change during the recording, was when the singer came in to lip sync. I thought that after every scene, the camera could pan to the singer, showing her lip syncing. However, while recording some scenes using this technique, I realised the scenes lost their authenticity. Which is why I decided to record the singer lip syncing out in the street, which highlights her isolation to the point where she left the party. I thought that I could insert scenes of the singer lip syncing important parts of the song such as "I don't need a xanny, to feel better", in between shots of the party.
